Who We AreCorporate Profile Wabash Mfg. Inc. is an Alberta based and owned company located in Westlock, AB, Canada. Since 1981, Wabash has been recognized as a manufacturer of quality tanks, trailers, mining support equipment and a line of rural fire tender units. Wabash presently employs over 100 people on its 18+ acre facility. Our staff includes full time Professional Engineers, MET`s, Welders, Mechanics, Millwrights, Painters, Parts Technicians, and Support Staff, that are trained and certified to industry standards. Wabash is certified for the manufacturing of Dangerous Goods Transport Equipment. Our manufacturing facility features shops dedicated to the manufacturing of oilfield and mining equipment. Materials for construction include mild steel, stainless steel aluminum and fiberglass. In addition to our manufacturing division, Wabash also stocks a large inventory of parts to service our customers` needs. With customer focus as our mandate, we intend to continue to build relationships with our clients based on their needs, service requirements and expectations. Mission Statement Health & Safety Policy Wabash employs a variety of qualified full-time staff. Our Office staff provide a variety of services including financial, accounting and support needs. Parts staff provide a vast knowledge of our stock of custom parts. The Pre-Fab and Rolling Shops staff of skilled workers includes welders and pipefitters. This is where our custom tanks are made. Repair staff handle a variety of jobs from tank repairs, insurance claims, steaming and rollovers. Mechanics and Rig-Up Shops install mechanical requirements, wiring, hydraulics and pumps. Suspension Shop employs qualified mechanics specializing in suspension and air systems. Complete subframe suspension manufacture, suspension repairs, brake and air systems as well as ABS systems are installed here. Wabash has a complete Hydrotest facility where our tank testing technician is able to do year-round Transport Canada Dangerous Goods Inspection, ultrasound tests, as well as internal and external visual inspections. Certified painters, sandblasters and preppers finish the units in the Paint and Sandblasting shop. Custom paint and decalling are available. ![]() |
