Ernie Hunt  |  Founding Partner

Ernie began his career as a licensed machinist as well as a crane operator, then in the early 1970's he formed a company called Westlock Machine Shop Ltd. It operated in the town of Westlock, carrying out repairs, fabrication, machining and welding. In the late 1970's, the company became more involved with work in the oil patch, which led to a close working relationship with our other Founding Partner, Ron Riopel. Ernie is still very active in the day to day operations here at Wabash Mfg. Inc. He works closely with our sales team to secure new and used tanks for our customers.

Ron Riopel  |  Founding Partner

Ron began his business career in the early seventies as a pressure welder, working for various oil companies in northern Alberta. He operated Ron Riopel Welding Ltd. in Rainbow Lake, until he and Ernie Hunt partnered together in Westlock to build Wabash Mfg. Inc. Today, Ron is still very much a part of the daily operations and is very active with production on the floor, and he has a particular interest in the research and development of new products and procedures.

Dave Mortensen  |  General Manager

Dave oversees all of the shops and works hard to keep everything here at Wabash running smoothly. Dave is also one of the many people here at Wabash Mfg. Inc. who strive to improve and create new and better ways to serve our customers' needs.

Julie Mortensen  |  Controller

Julie keeps everything running smoothly here at Wabash Mfg. Inc. and makes sure everyone stays on their toes! As Controller, Julie over sees the Accounts Payable/Receivable departments, and also ensures that rental and sale transactions are completed efficiently.

Blaine Harder  |  Sales Manager

Blaine specializes in finding the perfect new, used or rental equipment for our customer's needs.

Dave is our Service Manager and he handles all the scheduling for both repairs and annual inspections.

Dana supervises a number of different new manufacturing products, liasing between our customers, our salesmen, and our floor staff to ensure jobs go smoothly.
